ENHANCING THE ENVIRONMENT

A comprehensive Masterplan for the new public realm within the Medieval Quarter has already been approved with the first phase recently completed. This includes a permanent memorial to the victims of the Manchester Arena attack. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge officially opened The Glade of Light in May. The memorial is open to the public and is located between Manchester Cathedral and Chetham's School of Music.
